Eliza Hannah White was born on 27 Jun 1827 at Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. She was baptised on 5 Jun 1830 at St. Philip, Birmingham. She was the daughter of William White and his wife Mary.[1]
In the 1841 census, Eliza White was age 13, living at Lower Tower Street, Saint Stephens, Birmingham, Warwickshire with her father William White (35), mother Mary White (30), brothers William Turton White (10), John White (7), Mark White (0), sister Mary White (3).[2]
In the 1851 census, Eliza White was age 24 living at 4 Court, 9 House, Lower Tower Street, Saint Stephens, Birmingham, Warwickshire with her father William White (48), mother Mary White (42), brothers William J White (20), John White (17), Mark White (10), Harry White (0), sisters Mary A White (13), Betsy White (7).[3]
Eliza White married James Vernon on 22 Dec 1853 at St Bartholomew, Edgbaston, Warwickshire.[4][5]
James and Eliza had seven children:

In the 1861 census, Eliza Vernon was age 32 living at Sand Pitts, Birmingham, Warwickshire with her husband James Vernon (32), sons James Ferras Vernon (3), Thomas Vernon (0), mother Mary White (50?), brothers Mark White (20), Harry White (10), sister Betsy White (17).[6]
In the 1871 census, Eliza Vernon was age 42 living at Birmingham, Warwickshire with her husband James Vernon (42), sons James Vernon (13), Thomas Vernon (11), Walter Vernon (9), Harry Vernon (2).[7]
In the 1881 census, Eliza Vernon was age 52 living at Pope St, Birmingham, Warwickshire with her husband James Vernon (52), sons Thomas Vernon (21), Harry Vernon (12).[8]
In the 1891 census, Eliza Vernon was age 62 living at Powell Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire with her husband James Vernon (62), sons Walter Vernon (28), Harry Vernon (21).[9]
Eliza Vernon died in 1893 age 64 at Birmingham, Warwickshire.[10]
