Laura was born about 1909.
The 1930 census shows Laura, age 19, living in her father’s household. The 1940 census shows her living with her husband with a 7 year old son, so the son was born c. 1933. So Marriage was about 1932. As both were residents of Chesterfield county, South Carolina, it is assumed that the marriage was there.
Note: the handwriting on the census form is at places unclear. What the transcriber took as a “T” is probably an “L”, and the central letters of the name of the person the transcribes took as “Tosso” are also unclear; the same unclarity apples to her sister, transcribed as “Tolera” (“Lorena?). But, comparing the 1920 and 1930 censuses, it is clear that the person “Tosso” on the 1930 census is the same person as Laura J. on the 1920 Census.
