When John White was born on 1 November 1745, in Shrewsbury Township, Monmouth, New Jersey, British Colonial America, his father, Levi White, was 37 and his mother, Ann Lippincott, was 32. He had at least 5 sons and 7 daughters with Catharine Bonham. He lived in Hemlock Township, Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States in 1808. He died on 10 October 1808, in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 62.
John was born in 1746.[1] He married Catherine Bonham May 29, 1747. They had at least 4 children. He was a corporal in the Marines according to the Munster rolls, enlisting August 5, 1808. He passed away October 10, 1808. He died in Northumberland, Pennsylvania.
19 Oct 1808 - John White of Hemlock Twp, now in Columbia Co, PA having made a visit to his children in Turbutt Twp, he took sick at the house of son-in-law John Smith, of the same sickness that John White died of on the 23 October, a nuncupative will giving to his wife Catherine his plantation tog. with the buildings erected upon them for the space of two year and that his son William shall have one of his horses and the gear for it for farming for two years. His wife shall have her own chaise for a riding beast and she shall remain on the place during her natural life and after 2 years shall have annually her share, and sons John and Samuel shall have an equal share as shall come out of the estate along with his other heirs who bear witness to this will Jacob White, John White, Samuel White, Wm White, John Smith, Daniel Shutts, Jacob Brittain, William Stadden, John Rodenbough, Wm Jones of Northumberland Co. On the 18 day of Nov 1808 arrived in court to attest. ltrs admin issued to widow Catherine. [3]
