Henry was born about 1744 and baptised on the 27th March 1744 at St. Mary the Virgin, Broxted, Essex, England, the son of John White and Susanna White^[1].

On the 9th December 1770, Henry White, of Broxted, Single man, married Sarah Bonsall of Great Dunmow, single woman, by banns, at St. Mary the Virgin, Great Dunmow, Essex, England^[2]

In 1772, Henry was named as a beneficiary in the will of his brother James White. His son Henry was also named as the godson of his brother James.^[3]

Henry White, the elder, died in 1797 and was buried on the 18th November 1797 at St. Mary the Virgin, Broxted, Essex, England^[4]
