Lucrecia (Whitehead) Hull was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Lucrecia E. Whitehead was born 8 Jan 1849 in Blount County, Tennessee to James Whitehead and Lucinda Martin (per death certificate, census and tombstone).

In 1850 James (32) and Susan (30) Whitehead resided with children Eliza (10), Wm (8), Rebecca (5) and Adaline (2) in Blount County, Tennessee.[1]


In 1860, James (42) and Lucindy (40) Whitehead resided with children Eliza (19), William (16), Rebecca (14), Lucretia (11), Isaac (6), John (4) and Hannah (2) in Blount County, Tennessee.[2]

On 28 Nov 1865, Alfred Potter and Creasy Whitehead were married in Blount County, Tennessee.[3]

In 1870, Alfred (28) and Lucrecey (20) Potter resided with 9 month old George M. Potter (born in Oct 1869) in Blount County, Tennessee.[4]

On 15 Sep 1872, Alexander Wilson and widow Cresey E. Potter were married in Blount County, Tennessee.[5]

In 1880, Alexander Wilson (51) and Lucrecia E. (31) Wilson resided with their children William T. (7), Frank T. (5) and Charles C. (3) and her son George M. Potter in Blount County, Tennessee.[6]

In 1900, Alexander Wilson (72, born Jan 1828 in North Carolina) and Lucrin E. (51, born Jan 1849 in Tennessee) Wilson resided with step son George M. Potter (30, oct 1869) and children Martha E. (15, born Mar 1885), Robert B. (11, born Aug 1888) and Henry R. (8, born Nov 1891) in Blount County, Tennessee.[7]

In 1910, widow Crease Wilson (64) resided with son George Potter (4), Robt Wilson (21) and Henry Wilson (19) in Blount County, Tennessee.[8]

Lucrecia or Lucretia Wilson died on 18 or 19 Dec 1916 in Blount County, Tennessee. The death certificate states Lucretia Wilson died on 19 Dec 1916 at age 67 years, 11 months and 11 days in Blount County, Tennessee. This certificate says she was born on 8 Jan 1849 in Blount County, Tennessee to James Whitehead and Lucida Martin.[9]

Lucrecia E. Wilson was buried in Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Cades Cove, Blount County, Tennessee. The tombstone says: Lucrecia E. Wilson, Jan 8 1849, Dec 18 1916.[10][11]
