DUNGOG
[FROM OUR CORRESPONDENTS.]
We record with regret the death of Mrs. Eliza Dark, widow of the late Mr. S. N. Dark, who died late on Saturday evening at her residence, Mackay-street, from paralysis, at the age of 71. The deceased lady was one of the oldest residents of Dungog, and was held in the highest asteem by all classes of the community. She leaves behind her four sons and two daughters, besides fifty-five grand-children and 10 great grand-children to mourn their loss. Deceased was of a very liberal disposition, and will be much missed by others outside her family, especially the poor around Dungog. Her beneficence and goodwill to all had gained for her the love and respect of the whole community. Deceased's remains will be interred in the Church of England cemetery here this afternoon.[1]

I'm proposing a merge of these two profiles because I believe they both represent one of my great-great grandmothers. The only difference I would make is to note Eliza's place of birth as Udimore in Sussex (not Ultimo) as that is the correct location as shown in the records of Dungog Cemetery. Also, if either of these profile owners would care to add me as a "Trusted Source" for Eliza, I would be glad to add many more details to her biography. Many thanks in advance, Jan Dark (Dark-360)
