"Jesse Whiterabbit, 87, of Wisconsin Dells, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at Native American Church in Wisconsin Dells with Chris Decorah officiating. Burial will be at the Decorah Cemetery. Visitation will be the Native American Church on Tuesday, Oct. 6, starting at 4 p.m. Jesse was born Aug. 18, 1922 in Winnebago, Neb., the son of Billy and Susie (Walker) Whiterabbit. Jesse was known as an artist. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman and Theodore Buffalo; sisters, Liola Ox, Nellie Decorah, Florence Decorah and Corrine DeCora."
