William Whiteside was born circa 1836 in Ardmore, his parents William and Mary Whiteside. He was the eldest of 6 children, the others being Nancey (born circa 1839), Mary (born circa 1844), Eliza (born circa 1846), Bella (born circa 1847) and Robert (born circa 1850). [1]
He married Mary Campbell in Killead on the 26th November 1858, his father also named as William Whiteside. [2][3]
He passed away on the 2nd April 1879 in Antrim. [4]
