Artimissa was born in 1835. She died in 1905 at the age of 70.

Parents: William Gray Whitfield 1813 - 1882 and Susan Anna "Annie" (Murray) Whitfield 1815 - 1892.

Spouse: Pvt. Reuben Hopkins 1827 - 1865. He fought with the Union Army in the Civil War. Private With Company K, 5th Tennessee Regiment. Mounted Infanrty. He died of Pneumonia. Findagrave #3191185
