John Whitfield was born in Yorkshire, England.
John Herbert Whitfield was born on 1 April 1914 [1] in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England, the son of John Wilkinson Whitfield and Elsie (Newsome) Whitfield.[2]
In 1939 John (age 25) was living in Yorkshire : Single.[1]
When John was 27 he married Frances Hillier in 1941 in Thorne, Yorkshire.[3]
John died at the age of 86 in February 2001 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England.[4]
