She was married 10 May 1807 to Allen Wooten.[1] They had two known children:

In the 1860 U.S. Census, Lucy W. Wooten was recorded as 76-years old, living in Trent, Lenoir, North Carolina with her daughter Sarah E. Whitfield [recorded as S.E. Whitfield], age 50, and her children. Lucy's personal estate was valued at $30,000.[2]
According to the referenced Whitfield book, she died 6 February 1879.[1]
