William Whiting was probably about the same age as his wife, Anna Maria (Acklam) Whiting, so born about 1717.
In 1740, when Anna-Maria would be 22, she married William Whiting in Beeford. [1] In 1707. Anna-Maria's aunt Elizabeth had married a John Whiting in Atwick.
William Whiting had three sons in Beeford from 1740 to 1758, and also a child who was stillborn or lived only briefly, being given no name. The eldest son, Thomas Whiting, is born in February 1740, that is ten months after the wedding in April, the first month of the year.
