Biography
This profile is part of the Whiting Name Study.
Eliza was born in 1886, the daughter of Francis Whiting and Sarah Clemens.
In 1906, she married Corbett Oben, Railways worker and was to have 5 children during her marriage. The marriage took place at the home of Sarah's sister Mary Ann (Clemens) Matthews in Picton.
Eliza died in 1961 age 75 while travelling on the train to Seacliff. (there is no burial plot for Eliza) [1]
