Randolph was born in 1772. He was the son of Randolph Whitley and Tabitha Saunders. He passed away in 1837.
The will of Randolph Whitley, dated 22 Dec 1784 and recorded 04 Aug 1785, names the following: brother Elisha Whitley, wife Tabitha Whitley, sons John Saunders Whitley, Randolph Reynolds Whitley, and Elisha Whitley; daughters Polly Whitley and Betsy Davis Whitley, and an unborn child. Exec: wife Tabitha Whitley and friend William Eley. Signed by signature Randolph Whitley. Signed, sealed, & acknowledged by Ishmael Whitley (x) his mark, and Rachel Norsworthy (X) her mark.
