Biography

Mary Jane was born in 1883. Her birth was registered in Bedminster and her mother's maiden name was Spriggins. ^[1]

In 1891 Mary was one of 3 children living with parents William and Ann in Bedminster. William was an Engine Tender. ^[2]

On 13 July 1910 Mary Jane married Kirwan Tuckwell in Knowle. Kirwan was a Fireman at smelting Works, his father John was a Railway guard. Mary Jane's father William was an Engine Driver. Blanche Whitlock and Francis Henry Tuckwell were witnesses. ^[3]

Mary died aged 44 in 1928. Her death was registered in Long Ashton. ^[4]
