Mary was born about 1863.
A Mary Whitmire, daughter of Jacob Whitmire and Isabella Brown, marries Albert Nicholas, son of Ashby and Jane Nicholas, on 23 Mar 1887 in Butler.
The 20 April 1888 edition records a marriage license for her and Perry Gould. and the 27 April 1888 edition records a marriage of 11 Apr 1888, officiated by Rev. C. F. Bohnen.
RESEARCH QUESTION: What happened to Albert Nicholas? In the Gould-Whitmire announcment she is not referred to as a widow, rather as "Miss". Is the Mary Whitmire who wed Perry Gould a different Mary, not the daughter of Jacob?
