Biography
Olivia Whitmore was born on 16 May 1742 in Dublin, Ireland, her father, William Whitmore, was 31, and her mother, Mary Grattan, was 32. She married Arthur Guinness on 14 June 1761 in her hometown 17 June 1761(she was 18 , half Arthur's age) .Her parents were wealthy gentry, and her dowry was over 1000 pounds. This would have aided the brewery expansion and developments. They had ten children in 24 years. She died on 1 March 1814 in Oughterard, Galway, at the age of 71, and was buried there.

Olivia Whitmore was born circa 1742. She was the daughter of William Whitmore and Mary Grattan.1 She married Arthur Guinness, son of Richard Guinness and Elizabeth Read, on 29 May 1761.2 She died in March 1814.1
