Biography

Welles was born in 1895.^[1]

Between 1900 and 1910 he lived with his parents in Oakland, Alameda, California, United States.^[2][3] In 1920 he was boarding in Judicial Township 16, Kern, California, United States.^[4]

In 1920 he married Hazel M Burman. The wedding was reported as follows, Plymouth To Be The Scene Of Triple Wedding. Seldom does a triple wedding grace the social calendar, and the first of the year will be that of Miss Daisy M Whitney of the University of California and Frank H Burman; Miss Hazel M Burman and Welles Whitmore Jr and Miss Geneviere B Burman and Frederic S Colcord.
