In 1758, a group of families from Connecticut founded the village of New Concord, New York. Benjamin, Sarah, and Daniel were among those that relocated.

Sarah Whitmore Lovejoy died on 16 May 1790. She is buried in Brown Road Cemetery, New Concord, Columbia County, New York. [3]
