Biography

Abijah was born in Massachusetts about 1773. Unsourced family trees place him in the family of John and Beulah Whitmore, although other trees list a son Abijah to that family who dies in 1828 (also unsourced). I beleive it is likely that these are the same person and after 1828 the family in the east lost track of him.
