ELIZABETH WHITNEY born Norwalk 1717, married June 2, 1735, Miles Riggs, and settled in Stamford, and moved to Norwalk, where the land records say, that the Widow Wriggs joined her brothers and sisters in conveying land at upper end of Clapboard Hill, Aug. 5, 1754, to Ebenezer Benedict. She married second, Ensign David Rockwell, son of Jonathan and Abigail Canfield-Rockwell, they settled in Ridgebury, Conn., where he died, May 30, 1788. She married third, Agur Fairchild who died, 1797. She then went to Norfolk Litchfield County, Conn., to live with her son, Miles Riggs, where she died in August, 1815.

Esther Riggs, b.Nov-1752, d.07-Mar-1816 Ridgefield, Fairfield Co., CT., m. 29-Nov-1769 Ridgebury CT., by Reve Samuel Camp, in Ridgebury to Abraham Rockwell, her 2nd-cousin, son of John and Elizabeth (Keeler) Rockwell.
