Belinda was born about 1818. She passed away in 1892.
Notes on maiden name
There has been a lot of speculation regarding Belinda's maiden name. Records have been found suggesting she was the Belinda Bates that married a Peter T. Whitney on 31 Oct 1844.[1]
Recent DNA matches for Darlene Johnson also seem to fit in with the family tree for Belinda Bates, dau. of Herman and Jerusha Bates.[2]
