Jonah was born, 3 Sept 1772, in Shrewsbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay. He is the son of Daniel Whitney and Katey Stone. Jonah, s. Daniel Jr. and Kata, Sept. 3, 1772.[1]

Jonah Whitney and Sally Wilder were married, 12 Dec 1802, in Wilmington, Vermont. [2]

Jonah died at the age of 64 years old and is buried at Doran Cemetery located in Madrid, St. Lawrence County, New York[3]
Jonah wrote his Will on 4 February 1837 and it went to Probate on 4 Sept 1837. He mentions his children and grandchildren and his wife. Harriet's heirs, Leonard's heirs,[4], [5], [6] and [7] Executors are sons Elisha, Oris and Daniel
