Abraham Whitney was born in about 1709 in Lexington, Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of Isaiah Whitney and Sarah (Woodward) Whitney. He married Sarah Whitney in 1737 or 1738. He passed away on either May 19, 1784 or May 22, 1784 in Harvard, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States.
