Biography

Aaron was born in Sherborn, Massachusetts, on February 9, 1772, the son of Hon. Daniel Whitney and Miriam Leland.

He married Eda (or Edie) Fiske on April 30, 1794. They were the parents of the following children, all born in Sherborn:

• John, born January 21, 1795, died aged 21
• Mary, born July 24, 1801, married Moses Stratton
• Elizabeth, born July 16, 1803, died August 24, 1824
• Daniel, born July 26, 1805, married Hannah Smith, died August 16, 1844
• Aaron, born September 15, 1809, married Marie E. Delavie
• Miriam L., born November 8, 1811
• Sarah H., born July 9, 1813, married Emlyn Sparahawk
• John F., born February 20, 1816, died 1816

He was known to have resided in Sherborn, Massachusetts and in Providence, Rhode Island.

He died on November 29, 1819.
