Sorry for all the confusion!
I contacted you a couple of weeks ago about the "intertwined" profiles that were created. Probably caused when Elizabeth (Whitsitt) Childress' father was input as her husband; so the sister, mother, daughter relationships were incorrect and very confusing.
I'm trying to help get this back to normal but there will need to be a triple merge.... done in stages. This would have been more straightforward if we could delete a profile, but I was told that's not possible.
This is the first merge of two merges..... but be careful on the profile that remains for Elizabeth Whitsitt-70 ...... her mother IS NOT Elizabeth Whitsitt (it's Sarah Thompson) and she doesn't have a daughter named Elizabeth Whitsett (her daughter is Elizabeth Childress who marries a Brandon)........ The next phase will be to merge Whitsitt-70 with Whitsitt-114. In the end there should only be two Elizabeths left.... Elizabeth (Whitsitt) Childress and her daughter Elizabeth (Childress) Brandon.
I know it's confusing!! Let me know if you have questions. I can send you more data on her children and siblings if you would like. I'm not sure this will solve all the problems in these profiles but it's a big first step.
(I did verify with the 1850 and 1860 census that Elizabeth Whitsitt Childress was born in North Carolina.) Peggy
