Biography

In the 1930 census of Precinct 11 Cox, Etowah, AL taken on April 3, 1930, TV is 15 and living with his mother Alice Whitt, brother, Jesse and Clovis and Helen, his sisters. Garman Clements and his wife and 2 daughters are living next door. There are also 4 families of Works living on Brans Chapel Road.

in the 1940 census of Brans Chapel Rd and Bigina Works Cutoff, Etowah, AL: TV 25, completed 8th grade, living with wife Francis 20 (completed 6th grade), Thomas V. son 2, and Nadian (Nadine) 7 months old. They are living with Alice Whitt age 55 and widow as head of household.

T.V. served in Okinawa, he drove a bulldozer, he worked at Goodyear. His father was Thomas (Tom) Whitt and mother was Alice (Whisenant) Whitt. T.V had an uncle named Oscar. He married Frances Lee when she was 16 and he was 22 on Dec 13, 1936 in Etowah, AL. Her parents were Luke Lee and Verander Flanding (I believe this is misspelled in record).

I have not been able to get his army registration card or the 1930 and 1920 census to upload to his file for some reason.
