Biography
Frank was the adopted son of Elsie May Whittaker and William Whittaker.
Elsie had a succession of stillborn and early infant deaths. She used to see Frank “sitting in the gutter in the street, without parental care”. She offered to adopted the child, Frank. He was estranged from his family for many years- as he felt unwanted. He was located and invited to his sister Joan’s birthday celebrations. Frank joined the 60th birthday celebrations of his sibling Joan Dorothy Elliott, née Whittaker. He left the party early as he planned to go fishing early the next day. While fishing in his dingy near the Rip Bridge, Woy Woy, Franks dingy overturned knocking his unconscious. As a result he drowned.
