Mary Whittaker was born to Robert Whittaker and Ann Bampton and was baptized on August 6, 1754.

On 16 May 1773 she married Edward Simons, Sr. in Stathern, England. Together they had 9 recorded children.

Mary's death date has been unconfirmed by records, but she has frequently been given the death date of February 5, 1815. I am unsure where this date comes from. There are several Mary Simons that did pass away in that year, but the locations of the records I found would suggest that they are not this Mary Simons.
