Biography
She was the 5th and youngest daughter of William Charles Whitaker and Edith May Gamble, of Auckland, New Zealand.
Marriages and family
She married 1ly Joseph (Joe) Meese, with no issue. They were later divorced.
In 1962 she married 2ly Alfred Thomas Hilton Stone, with issue four sons and one daughter:
1 (Thomas) Shane; 2 Paul Hilton; 3 William James (Billy); 4 Della Marie; 5 Scott Lewis.
Death and burial
She died on 1 November 1990 in Auckland, aged 62. She was buried in Waikumete Cemetery, Auckland.
Legacy
At her death she had 13 grandchildren.
