Jonathan Whittemore was born on August 3, 1800 in Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States, son of Jonathan Whittemore and Eunice Glazier Ward. ^[1]

After registering their intention on April 1, Jonathan and Elizabeth G Chesmore were married April 26, 1825 in Fitchburg. ^{[2] [3] [1]}

Elizabeth was born on October 31, 1804 in Washington, Vermont, United States.
