JOHN P WHITTEMORE 1848-1917

John P. Whittemore was born on the 11th of July 1848 in Endicott, Broome County, New York to William Whittemore 1816-1892 and Catherine Livingston 1818-1905.

Kenneth Robert Whittemore, JR reports on page 12 of his book, A Bicentennial History of the James Whittemore Family of Union, New York, 1776-1976 that John P. Whittemore 1848-1917 is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Endicott, New York. Here is a note I received on his Findagrave Memorial. Barbara Hughes and her husband went to the Riverside Cemetery in Endicott, New York to look for the grave of John P. Whittemore. He is not buried in this Riverside Cemetery. I was able to contact the church and the caretaker of records and there is no record. The records go back a long time before the dates your are looking at. Wife, Frances A. "Fannie" SEARLES Whittemore who died in 1930, is buried in Floral Park Cemetery in Johnson City, Broome County, New York. Could he be buried there??
