Biography

  • mariner.
  • Witnessed a deed in Boston on 15 June 1719 from Jonas Webber to Capt. John Gyles.[1]
  • Sued for a dept of £7 by Thomas Copping, innholder [2]
  • Bought a house and land on Sheafe St., on 26 May, 1733, in the northerly end of Boston, from Edward Drinker, a joyner, for £410.[3]
  • On 15 July 1737, petitioned the Selectmen of Boston for a Retailer's license, "as he is sick with the gout and can no longer follow the sea as he was brought up to do".[4][5]
  • Signed a petition by the residents of Boston's North End asking that a new road be built from Sheafe St. to the Charles River.[6]
