Biography

Esther Whittemore was born at Concord, Massachusetts on June 30, 1730, daughter of Nathaniel and Abigail (Blood) Whittemore. ^{[1] [2]}

She married her cousin Jacob Whittemore on October 28, 1747, as his first wife. ^{[1] [2]} Jacob was born at Lexington, Massachusetts on March 3, 1722, son of Nathaniel Whittemore. ^[3]

Esther died on November 2, 1748, shortly after the birth of their only child. ^{[1] [2]}

In her father Nathaniel's will written on May 21, 1765, he left a bequest to his grand daughter Esther Whittemore. Jacob Whittemore was one of the heirs approving the submission of his will in February, 1769. ^[4]

Jacob died at Lexington on June 21, 1780 and in his will he left L200 to daughter Esther Brown. ^[3]
