Emily was born Halifax County, Nova Scotia, but raised in Massachusetts. The 1900 census, in Fitchburg, lists her as being born in Massachusetts.
She reports her immigration as being 1903.
On 6 Jun 1907, she married first, Joseph Frith Marland, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.[1]
The 1920 census lists the 33-year-old Emily as living with her parents in Fitchburg and sewing in a woolen mill.
The 1927 city directory for Fitchburg notes that Emily O. had moved from Fitchburg to Clinton.
The 1930 census lists the divorced 42-year-old Emily as living as a boarder in the Tatro house on Minneapolis Street in Fitchburg. She lists her occupation as domestic nurse. This may have been to the 61-year-old Henry Tatro.
She seems to have also lived with her husband Harry in East Brookfield and possibly Pepperell, Mass.
A newspaper clipping for her mother's 82nd birthday notes that the party was "celebrated at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Warren, on Fitch Bridge Road." Fitch's Bridge Road is in Groton.
She died on March 8, 1972 at the of 84 in Fitchburg.[2][3]
Emily is buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA.[4]
