Celia was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, in 1883.[1]
At the age of 18, she married Winfred C. Leach.[2]
She seems to appear twice in the 1910 census, once in Leominster as 33-year-old Celia A. Leach with her husband and son Alfred[3]
and once in Fitchburg as 27-year-old Celia Whitten.[4] Is it possible that the 27-year-old is not Celia? The image of the census page appears to say Celia and she is marked as single.
She is listed as Mrs. James Gates in the obituary of her brother Edward.
