In the 1860 census the two-year-old Henry is living with his parents in Searsport, Waldo, Maine.

In the 1920 census, the 62-year-old Henry is living as a boarder with his wife Stella at the house of the Eskys in Chester Ward 8, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and working as a machinist in a shipyard.

In the 1930 census he's living in Providence, Rhode Island.
