Gordon Wiborg, Jr. was born on 27 December 1954 in Hennepin county, Minnesota, United States. He was the son of Terry (Hermann) Wiborg and Gordon Leslie Wiborg.[1]
Gordon passed away on 12 March 2024.
Gordon earned an Associates degree in law enforcement from Mankato State University and a Bachelors degree in psychology at the University of Minnesota.
He served in the US Army in 1981 – 1989. He is a US veteran; his terminal rank was Captain, US Army with USAG Hawaii Cavalry/Armor.[2]
He next served in civilian law enforcement, serving as a police officer at Fairmont, Minnesota, K-9 Handler at City of Hopkins, Minnesota, Police Captain at North Palm Beach Village, North Palm Beach, Florida and Chief of Police at Snohomish, Washington.
He next served in Federal Civil Service for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) where he served as Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection at U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii and served as Command Center Team Leader at United States Army Garrison Japan. He then served as Chief, Plans and Operations at Yuma Proving Ground.
He retired to Yuma, Arizona.
