Teters-24 here, Thomas James Teters 1952, 5Gg of Henry Teter/Dieter from Olive Creek, Ohio 1765=1823. Seems that our family lived near each other and I keep running into 'you', but have never found a link. Can you go back before 1770 or so? I do know Henry's father Henry Dieter, was from the Hesse area of Germany. Just cuz.

Hi Devonna

A warm welcome to the Wikitree Family. By now you will have received an email with useful links to get you started. Take your time and browse the site to see what Wikitree has to offer.

Wikitree is different, because we have one goal: To have one big Global tree. This means we have one profile per person, and we collaborate as one big team.

When you confirm your email address, you will have the opportunity to volunteer by adding tags to your profile. These should contain what interests you in your genealogy: surnames, locations, etc.

A Greeter will then confirm your membership, and you will be able to start adding your information.

We are all volunteers here and happy to help if you need it.

I look forward to seeing you in the tree :)

Happy researching
