Cyrus Morrison Wickham was born on February 26, 1843, in Zanesville, Ohio. He married Sarah Mahala Claypool on April 20, 1865, in Clark, Missouri.[1] They had 7 children during their marriage, five were still alive by 1900. He died on October 19, 1884, in Cass, Texas, at the age of 41, and was buried in Queen City, Texas. Sarah remarried to William H. Van Camp, but was widowed again by 1899.[2]
