Baptised: Peter Cox Sussex Ancestors - Wicks[1] Elizabeth Wicks was baptised on the 13th March 1803 at Newick‘ the illegitimate daughter of Sarah Manners’.
English Census
1841 In 1841 the couple were living in North Street in the parish of St Thomas a Beckett in the Cliffe, Abel a Labourer. When the parishes of Cliffe and Southover were added to the Borough of Lewes in 1881 North Street was renamed ‘Malling Street’. The Manners family were living in the same house as Michael Harding age 60 and his family and Elizabeth’s married brother Edward, age 27, his wife Jane (Moon) age 25 and their children, Abel age 3 and William age 10 months. Strictly speaking the relationships are inferred, as the 1841 census doesn’t give such details but within the house there were three households.
Burial: Peter Cox Sussex Ancestors - Wicks[3] Elizabeth was buried on the 19th November 1854 at Lewes St Johns Southover
