Mary was born between Jan-Mar in 1842. She was the daughter of Alfred Widdowson and Mary Bingley.

Biography

In 1851, at age 9, Mary/Elizabeth is a Lace Mender, living in Mount Street, with her parents, Alfred age 32, Mary age 33, and her siblings, Edward age 12, Alfred age 6, Sarah age 4 and Miriam age 1.

In 1861, at age 19, Mary is a Lace Maker, living in Cross Street, Basford, with her widowed father Alfred age 42, and her siblings, Alfred age 17, Miriam age 11 and Fred age 8.

In 1867, Mary married William Culyer, at Basford ^[1]

In 1871, at age 29, the widowed Mary is living at her fathers house in Cross Street, Basford, with her father Alfred age 52.

In 1881, at age 39, Mary is living at her fathers house in 79 Gawthorne Street, with her father Alfred age 63, and her brothers Alfred age 37 and Frederick age 29. Also living with them is her cousin, Mary Widdowson age 18.

In 1891, at age 50, Mary is a servant, living at her brothers house in 150 Burford Road, with her brother Alfred age 47, and with her father Alfred age 72.

In 1901, at age 59, Mary is a Lace Maker, living at her brothers house, in 25 Duke Street, with her brother Alfred age 57.

In 1911, at age 69, Mary is a Lace Mender, living at 55 Gawthorne Street, New Basford.

She passed away between Apr-Jun in 1921, at the age of 78, in Nottingham.
