Biography

Mary was born in 1864. She was the daughter of Edward Widdowson and Mary Selby.

In 1871, at age 6, Mary is living at 34 Wolsey Road, Islington, London, with her parents, Edward age 32, Mary age 37, and her siblings, Edward age 5, and twins, Peter and Marmaduke age 1. Mary's Aunt Miriam Widdowson age 21 is also living with the family.

In 1881, at age 16, Mary is living at 57 Victoria Grove, MIddlesex, England, with her parents, Edwaqrd age 42, Mary age 47, and her siblings, Edward age 15, Peter and Marmaduke age 11, Sarah age 9, Ernest age 7 and Henry age 3. Also living with the family is Mary's widowed grandfather Peter Selby age 75, and Mary's Aunt Ann Selby age 38.

In 1891, at age 26, Mary is still living at 57 Victoria Grove, with her widowed father Edward age 52, and her siblings Peter and Marmaduke age 21, Ernest age 17 and Henry age 13. Mary's Aunt Ann Selby age 47 is still living with them.
