Biography
When John Buckingridge Widick was born on September 30, 1858, in Christian, Illinois, his father, Joseph, was 32 and his mother, Margaret, was 26. He married Mary Eliza Garrett on February 16, 1899, in Minden, Nebraska. They had one child during their marriage. He died on May 3, 1938, in Saline, Nebraska, at the age of 79, and was buried in Friend, Nebraska.
