Primary school in Schachen near Herisau. Secondary school in Herisau. Education to a qualified male nurse at the cantonal hospital Lucerne.
Education as station head, as nursing manager, and Diploma as a school teacher in health services by the Kaderschule für die Krankenpflege Zürich.
Professionally working in many different functions at the cantonal hospital Lucerne (1963 - 1976), at the psychiatric university hospital Berne (1976 - 1982), at the Lindenhofspital Berne (1982 - 1986), and at the psychiatry center Münsingen (1986 - 2008).
Starting persons for my genealogical studies are the grandparents of myself and those of my wif including the following families:
WIDMER from Stein AR Switzerland, KIENZLER from Nussbach BW Germany, REGLI from Wassen UR Switzerland, THÖRIG from Herisau AR Switzerland, BISCHOF from Herisau AR Switzerland, FISCHER from Thielle-Wavre NE Switzerland, JUNKER from Rapperswil BE Switzerland, WEIBEL from Rapperswil BE Switzerland, and SCHNEIDER from Nidau BE Switzerland. Descendants of these families can be fund in different countries arround the world, e.g. in Germany, France, the Neetherlands, Indonesia, and Canada.
