Biography

Charles Richard Wiederhold was born on 1 February 1939 at Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio, United States. He was the twelfth child of Clarence Wiederhold and Marguerite (Teal) Wiederhold.

In the 1940 census Charles (age 1) was the son of Clarence Wiederhold at Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio, United States.^[1]

Charlie, as he was known to family and friends, attended Batavia Ohio Schools, graduating in 1957. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Susan Haney, on 4 April 1959.^[2] He was 20 years old and a die maker. Susan was 18 years old and an office clerk. They were parents of three children: Lisa Kathleen, Charles Daniel 'Danny', and David James Wiederhold.

Charlie remained a die maker throughout his adult life, retiring from this profession. He loved sports, excelling at baseball, softball and later golf. He and Susan both suffered from Alzheimer's disease late in life. Both were confined to homes of care in their latter years and they succumbed to complications of the disease. Susan died on 12 February 2015 (aged 74). She was buried at Olive Branch Cemetery, Olive Branch, Clermont County, Ohio, United States ^[3]

Charlie died on 30 March 2016 (aged 77). He was laid to rest beside Susan at Olive Branch Cemetery.^[4]

They are both sorely missed by family and friends.
