Parents were Jan Daniel Wieser and Dorothea Hubner. She died on 5 Dec 1838, aged 75 years, 8 months and 10 days, in Main Road, Buiten Gracht, Cape Town (not sure of the details here). She was the widow of the late Olof Marthinus Bergh.The following surviving children were listed in the death notice.

She signed her name as Johanna Catharina Wieser not Johanna Carolina on the baptism record of her nephew Oloff Marthinus Bergh 13 Jan 1799, which baptism record also confirms that her sister in law Angelique Wilhelmina Falck did not die in 1795, but after the birth of this son in 1799
