In 1860[1], he was living in McLean, Kentucky with his father and mother. After his father died, in 1870, he was living with his mother and siblings.[2]
He married Arthusa Havener.
On 06 May 1930, James died in Daviess County, Kentucky.[3][4]He was buried in Green Brier Cemetery, Utica, Kentucky.[5]
