Biography
The daughter of Anning Wiggins Sr and Catherine (Woodworth) Wiggins, Nancy Wiggins was born in the village of Mexico, New York[citation needed] in 1807. She married Solomon Prosser (1800-1877), the son of John Prosser and Anna Haynes, marrying in Oneida County, New York around 1826[citation needed] and having four known children together:
Eliza Ann (Prosser) Seldon (1827-1918)
Anna Prosser (1834-)
Jefferson W. Prosser (1835-1914)
David Warren Prosser (1842-1921)
Nancy and her family made their home in Rome Township, New York.[1][2][3] Nancy Prosser's husband passed away in 1877; in 1880, Nancy lived alone in Rome.[4] In 1900, Nancy's daughter, Eliza Seldon, lived in the home in Rome.[5]
Nancy Prosser passed away in Rome, New York[6] at the age of 94 and is buried at Wright Settlement Cemetery in Rome, New York.[7]
