Biography

Abigail was born May 31, 1767 in Wrentham, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Joseph Wight and Abigail Ware.^[1]

Abigail Wight...married at Otisfield, Me., October 5, 1789, Enoch, son of Joseph and Miriam (Lyon) Spurr,^[2] of Otisfield, formerly of Roxbury, Mass. Enoch was born January 28, 1761, was a soldier in the Revolutionary war, moved to Otisfield in September, 1779, four years after its first settlement, and was one of its pioneers, residing at Spurr's Corner. He was a manufacturer of wool and flax wheels in Otisfield, where all their children were born.

Abigail died 27 July 1815 in Otisfield, Maine and is buried there in Cedar Crest Cemetery.^[3][4]
